Today I’m showing you a springy card. I can’t get enough of spring! This card is on a kraft base, with yellow
patterned paper from Recollections. I
used a green Silhouette pen to sketch a border around the patterned paper using the stitching feature. It’s so nice and easy to add a little
something to your cards with the stitching feature! I love that it's a subtle feature- it almost blends right in- but it really finished off the card to add it. It would have looked so much more empty without the border.
I added these flowers that I bought from the Silhouette
online store. I didn’t add the little
swirl that came with them, because I liked the flower pot on its own. The nice thing was that I was able to easily
make two of them, because *spoiler alert* they’re going to be our Mother’s Day
cards for my mom and mother in law this year.
Such a cute card. Love the spring colors and the flowers are adorable.
